The Eclipse was such a cool car back in my 20s
Y’all debating the value of super charging while the real story is you can buy an inventory Model 3 RWD for $36,260 in my neck of the woods. (Chicago area)
PR isnt the same as the sales department
It’s not new with EV’s, but I think it’s exacerbated by EVs
No interest. Wireless charging is much much less efficient than wired charging, and at the scale of vehicles it really adds up. I think this tech is bad for the grid and for carbon output.
Hanlon’s razor
“Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.”
Such as?
Also Mexico has the potential to be a big player in EV production if they play their cards right
I think the base models for both are well equipped but I agree the tax incentives have to factor into the equation.
What the best way to easily run voice control locally?
What?? Lucid seems like the worst option. They need a company flush with cash to burn for a long term project.
Sadly I think that’s just how all laptops are these days
Bro you got an M2 Max. The whole deal is that they’ll consume more power to reach higher performance. That’s the tradeoff.
Microsoft no longer needs the current “openai” as a result
Yeah that’s not true. Microsoft still needs their technology. At least until it can be replaced, but that will take time.
IMO range is not a huge issue today. Right now the problem is a lack of diverse options at reasonable costs. Poor RELIABLE public charging for non teslas. And I think enthusiasts forget how long it takes for regular folks to become comfortable with new technology. As people ride in EVs and have more friends and families with EVs they’ll continue to normalize and demand will grow.
Borrowing rates are also an issue right now which can be partially mitigated by more affordable EVs
Its nuts! I sent my packet off on November 1st. Good luck!
Well, as you’d expect in a lower power device it would be run at a lower power level.
