In 2020 they claimed they were coming in 2023. In 2023 they claimed they were coming in 2027. I wonder what will happen in 2027?

Because they are holding out for better battery tech. Ssd battery that can have range of 700+ miles with 10-30min charge. Toyota doesnt fall into “latest is greatest” bullshit. They adopt well researched and refined tech only.

In 2012 Toyota claimed their solid-state batteries were coming in 2017.
In 2017 they claimed they were coming in 2020.
In 2020 they claimed they were coming in 2023.
In 2023 they claimed they were coming in 2027.
I wonder what will happen in 2027?
