Mitsubishi, weirdly enough, where I’m from (Philippines), they are doing just fine, but they are struggling everywhere else. Mitsubishi have a special place in our hearts, we love our box-type Lancers, Galants, and especially Pajeros. Today though Evos are gone, the Eclipse is an SUV, I really loved the new Mirage but they never thought of making a hot hatch, which would have been perfect!

    Volvo.

They aren’t dead and are, in fact, doing pretty well…but they’ve lost the spunky attitude ever since Polestar was spun off. Like, throughout the 2000s and 2010s they were rising to challenge the Germans in their own way. The SPA S60 and V60 were supposed to be - and were even originally marketed as - the sportiest and most dynamic driving cars ever from the company…and then Samuelsson happened. Right as that car was launched, they went all-in on safety, playing down the sporty aspects across the brand and even changing the marketing for 2020+. Then the pandemic happened and extremely aggressive cost-cutting was implemented: no more fun speaker-cone color, no dynamic ride, no ventilated seats, no shift paddles, no R-Design badges, no drive mode selector, and the OS change from Sensus to Android Automotive rolled back some features because they couldn’t be fucked to finish the software feature-set before implementing it in production.

And soon all they will sell are SUVs and crossovers.

Sad how far the brand has fallen since the firecracker P3 V60 Polestar.

I just hope something happens and Honda decides to send the 4th gen jazz to the US. It’s a shame you can’t get new Fits anymore here.

Man I had a ‘10 L200. ~400 km and that thing was still going strong. I beat the shit out of it and it would just take it. Best car I’ve ever had.

this might be weird to say considering how well received the c8 Corvette and the Blackwing Cadillacs were but GM. Besides those 3 vehicles and the Camaro which I think met it’s doom or is about to nothing in any of GM’s brands are really that interesting. You could slap a different name plate on basically any car that GM has from any brand and I would believe it. I would love to see the blazer return to it’s former off road glory, I’d love to see GM ditch electric cars all together, I’d love them to push the automotive envelope like they used to be able to do in the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s and the early 70’s.

Pontiac. GM refused to sell the brand for some reason so I’m hoping to see them come back. I never understood why they gave Pontiac the axe instead of Buick.

    Pontiac.

It should have been GM’s answer to modern day Dodge with high horsepower crazy shit. Give me a modern WS6 as a better handling alternative to the Challenger Hellcat.

Evo inspired by the 9 and earlier. I’d buy a continuation or fully refurbed 9 unless it was like 100k. Only car I ever sold that I regret but finding one in good shape for reasonable price is hen’s teeth
