Better looking than Tesla. If they can get away with not being sued by Land Rover for producing a similar looking vehicle, I think they will sell better than Tesla in 5 years.

Well they’ve been advertising it for years and they’re finally taking orders when interest rates are at an all time high.

They essentially sell Proof of Concepts, not production level cars.

Until a company have figured out production at scale, after sales support/repair/warranty, parts availability, etc. They are really just selling a demo car.

Until an OEM can deliver 100K vehicles a year, they are sub-scale and can die in an instant. (Fisker is on the verge of dying again.)

I am frankly surprised they have 1100 deliveries. New EVs usually make their way to the suburbs of DC pretty quick and I have seen none.

I’m in the area. I’ve seen one Ocean so far. I think they’re delivering out of Baltimore or something

Spotted 2 in San Francisco on my way home from work last week. But also in SF you’d think Rivian’s were the new Honda Pilot

I have seen about half a dozen in California. The fit and finish is outstanding. Aside laggy infotainment system, bad customer service and faulty 12V battery, I have not seen anything else. The bad customer service is to expect from a start up.

I am curious if there is an embargo by Fisker on YouTube reviews that are critical. The Fisker subred deletes any negative news.

They don’t have enough showrooms and I don’t think they’ve done any sort of pop ups. Like I think their only showroom is in LA. Then they’ve got some planned for AZ, Maryland, Tennessee, and New York but nothing in Chicago or any Texas metro. Plus there’s probably some brand inertia from all of the previous Fisker companies

My friend got their delivery (mid willamette valley OR). They’ve been having several issues a day into ownership, including battery problems. Mobile service had to come out couple times. Fingers crossed.

The company said it and its manufacturing partner, Magna International
, built 4,725 Oceans in the third quarter and delivered 1,097 to customers.

Hopefully most of these are just waiting at a port somewhere, but… not great, is it?

Fisker lost their biggest investor a few years because the ceo refused to step down, so my wife’s current coworker was told to spend the next 2 months to find a job. So he did and that was a few years ago.

I was very interested in the Ocean due tp a coworker talking it up and then went to the website, which was total trash and seemed so low quality to where it felt like a scam. That initial impression is all I needed. I was told about the history of Fisker, and I am glad I never put down a deposit.

If the price of the ocean extreme drops within a year, I might consider one. Those for Europe are built and serviced by external companies (built by magna who also does the Toyota supra / BMW Z4 and jaguar iPace)
