How do you know he could do that??
By narcissistic bullshit… I hope you mean OP?
You just need to come the fuck down, if your first thought is this ending in a fight, you need to go talk about your feelings with a professional.

Stop assuming everyone is in the same situation as you!
If the guy needs to go far without good charging stops, and the extra range, let the person charge as needed.
I agree, this is mainly an American sub.
It is especially funny to see post about charging and range… and how different the us is compared to other regions.
I would recommend the upgrade to the EV6.
You might be able to make it in the id3, but I don’t think you will make the speed limits and have the heater on all the time.
I have driven the Q4 with 77kw battery and I could barely hit 300km range driving motorway during winter. I have flat rate charging, so charging cost isn’t a concern I drive the speed limit 110/130km/h… and that really consumes a lot of energy compared to 80km/h on a highway.
For everyday driving 2-400km range is good enough for me. And 90% of the EV drivers I know is okay with the current state… Of course progress is good I’m not disagreeing on that. But here electric installations is good and it is no problem getting a home charger.
For the last 10% and myself when I need to go longer trips and cross country because of work. I don’t need 1000km range, I would be okay with faster charging and shorter range between charges(mainly because of queue in vacation season).
If every charger would supply 800volt DC I think xpeng is pretty close to winning this atm… for now.
Dk 800dkk/107€ per month flat rate. Both home and network chargers incl. Fast.
There is some added cost if average electric prices are above xx that month, but hasn’t experienced that it.
