At least in the US, the question should be “Are there even any EV sedans?” If you’re looking at the classical proportions of a sedan with it’s 3 box profile, the only EV sedans are the Polestar 2, Ioniq 6, Audi E-Tron GT, and Porsche Taycan.
The amount of EV sedans offered in the US are tiny compared to SUV’s mainly because people don’t want that anymore.
I generally have no positive expectations from BMW design at this point, (I can’t stand the buck tooth look of the M3 and messiness of the XM), but I have no doubt that it’s an excellent driver’s car. That is one thing that they are undeniably good at.
More accurately, it’ll be a Pre-owned ID.4 I got a Pro S with Gradient trim earlier this year for a hair under $30k. With an original retail of almost $50k,I have a hunch that ID.4s will reach that attainable price in short time.
