Evo inspired by the 9 and earlier. I’d buy a continuation or fully refurbed 9 unless it was like 100k. Only car I ever sold that I regret but finding one in good shape for reasonable price is hen’s teeth

I toured the factory when the F50 was just coming out and they were bragging that they had their first mechanized automatic process with a machine that ground the cams. They still had a guy hand check them. Paint had a guy with a magnifier inspecting it. Maybe they didn’t do that when the tour wasn’t going through, maybe they did, but they were super anal about everything. There was a pile of rejected leather with blemishes, too. The F50 motor in the dyno cell sounded amazing.
Oil pan seal. They usually leak after a replacement bc nobody does it right
‘Mericans carry guns and would not appreciate their cars being purposefully hit. It would not well
I’ve had to adjust them before but it’s bc of the grips on the door side wearing, not the hook. Except one car that had a plastic sleeve over the hook part. That thing kept wearing out. What a dumb idea even if it does make it quieter

Used to be Vietnamese coffee shops. Those were fun times
Porsche used to claim they left the 4 in the 930 so long bc then you could enjoy the motor pulling hard for longer between shifts and bc it had so much power more gears would just be an annoyance with very little benefit. They really just didn’t want to build a new 5-6 sod transmission that could handle the increased torque. But also they were kind of right about the enjoyment thing imo
