For 2023 MINI USA has thus far seen a 18.7% increase with 22,769 vehicles sold compared to 19,185. Leading the way was a massive increase in Countryman sales with a 71.8% increase in sales for the quarter. That’s help offset the 285 decrease in the two door hardtop and 10% drop in Clubman sales.

From Google. As a previous MINI tech, I knew the Countryman was bound to fake over the brand since the small car market went down south after people got used to $3+ per gallon of fuel.

Boring cars. Boring styling. Boring run of the mill SUVs. German costs for a lot of repairs. Why bother?

I did a great 3 Day event for MINI when I worked for them as a technician at the BMW Performance Center at the Thermal track in California.

Flew us all out to. Put us in an amazing hotel. Had a phenomenal buffet dinner on the first night and a great breakfast the next morning. Then we went to the track and beat the living shit out of JCW MINIs and M bimmers. It was absolutely amazing.

We had a great lunch at their training center located on track grounds and went back again for another few hours. It was awesome.

That night we had a big party at the hotel and it was even crazier than I expected, seeing a bunch of upper management people with the brand getting hammered and just having a good time.

The next day we got to talk to the drivers/trainers and hang out with them and then we got certificates, clothes and traveling gear. I still have all but the shirt. Not sure what happened to it.

I’m a MINI certified master tech and I left the dealership/industry last year because the dealership I worked at turned into every other one with their greedy bullshit.

Anyways, I now do a job that allows me plenty of free time so I offered my automotive services in the local Facebook group for MINI owners and enthusiasts.

So far I have gotten a phenomenal reputation because I do what I say I will and my prices are essentially the cheapest around. Reading this story and many more like it, it’s crazy how horrible some shop owners can be and how they have absolutely no fucking morals.

It really doesn’t take much to be a good human being.

Their trucks are ugly and overpriced.
