No.
E89 here, ride ws massively improved by ditching them.
Dealer wants to sell you run flats because they’re more expensive.
To my knowledge Enet is F-series onward. We have a 2016 E89 Z4 and 2017 F21 140i and enet (MHD black adapter) only works on the f21. I have a Veepeak BLE+ Bluetooth adapter which works on both. MHD is faster, but functionally works the same for bimmercode/link.
You shouldn’t rely on it in case of theft, tracking can be turned off in about 10 seconds in idrive.
In answer to your question though, no.

Turned it off with bimmercode so it’s never on.
It’s shit in then 140. Only car I’ve driven where it wasn’t shit was a Rav4 where you could choose whether to stop/start or not by pressing the brake harder.
A specialist is a better option than main dealer. A good one will be able to update idrive history also.
If you’re gonna do a job, do it properly!
That’s repairable for sure.
Take it BM Connected in Braintree and they will a) tell you the best thing to do and b) do it better and cheaper than BMW.
You’ll only be able to see what exists for your specific car once you’ve added it to your account, which requires access to the car. You add it by vin, it sends a message to the car (so you need physical access to it) with a number, you enter the number in the app.
