I’ve been away from home for a few weeks and now when I check My BMW app my car doesn’t show up??

Anyone else?

It’s pretty unnerving that you could be relying on the app to track your car, in case of theft or otherwise, and BMW just decides to remove it from the app without any way to add it back (without being in the car).

    You shouldn’t rely on it in case of theft, tracking can be turned off in about 10 seconds in idrive.

    In answer to your question though, no.

    I believe in the past, those features were part of ConnectedDrive service and were free for the first 3 years of ownership. I think with new BMWs, the free period was shortened. Maybe your ConnectedDrive service is expired?
