My Tacoma frame rotted in half, so they bought the truck back from me at 62,000 miles. My 5yr old model-3 with 127,000 miles is still going strong, literally no rust.

I miss the $12,000 single cab, 2WD, stick shift, 4-cylinder.
As a professional in the automotive industry, I’ve been attending many large auto shows for the past 14 years and I couldn’t agree more, they’ve all declined quite a bit. I miss when there were more concept cars and crazy designs, even if they never came to fruition it was neat to see. Nowadays I’m just like… “where’s Nissan? Where’s Honda?” Haha. :/
Gotta save money for that anti-climate and crazy right-wing donations…Toyota, you suck.
Ever driven a car without power brakes? It sucks… I like basic bare-bones cars too, but power brakes for me is a must have.
I was the 309th employee at Tesla back in 2009, I was sub 200 at Lucid Motors. It takes an absolute mountain of cash to start a car company… As a field engineering technician, I assisted at crash test for a many weeks, and the money it takes to do this is insane…That combined with actual production factory setup, stamping tools, dies, etc… Imagine a bonfire of cash fed by a dump truck.
