I haven’t calculated the difference but fuel is 2.1 to 2.9€ a litre in my town so I’ll take whatever I can. It also helps calm the RWD down a bit which is good for snow and ice, which I have six or seven months of the year.

I only have the 330e. It’s my first car but honestly it’s fantastic. It’s pretty incredible compared to the Hiluxes I drive at work.
It’s a shame because now I will always be wanting an M car.
I’m not particularly knowledgeable on every BMW model, but aren’t those specifically different variants which are more track-oriented? A regular M3 isn’t.
I’d go with the G20. Only because it’s newer.
Personally, it has more than enough performance and I don’t have the possibility to go on tracks anyway (besides the ice track nearby) nor do I have any particular interest.
However, I’m not particularly familiar or knowledgeable in either.
I think they mean it’s not a track-specific car. It’s an every day sedan that is also built for a track. It’s not a track car that also happens to be street legal.
I have the issue where media volume and alert volume is now tied together and there’s no way to fix it.

Yes but that’s just because my car is a hybrid. It’s my first car so I’ve never even driven a car with start/stop besides an Amarok at work once.
It worked fine when it was activated but that was only a once or twice—it’s just too cold during winter and it turns the function off.
I had no idea these two were separate settings honestly. I combined sports mode and M/S with the shifter and it almost felt like a different car.
However, I drive one Eco almost all the time—partially in winter on snow if I actually want to go straight in car parks.
Also fuel is expensive. We hit 2.98€ a litre in northern Finland for a few days last week. That’s $12.26/gal for you Americans complaining about fuel prices. It’s back down to an affordable 2.0-2.1 now.

This seems to be a very US-originating issue. In Europe, BMWs are just normal cars. They’re everywhere.
You’re probably just better off test driving the models you can see yourself buying. A BMW from 1990 and 2023 are going to be vastly different even if they’re the same model. There’s no “one” BMW.
They’re also just BMWs. It’s just a normal car brand like any other. Not all of them are luxury, have good handling or have power—many are just normal cars. They’re everywhere.
