Toyota may need to rename themselves ConcepEV. Concepts are easy production is hard.
Concept concept concept YAWN

If it’s priced the same as a Corolla, then yes, acceptable.

Less announcing EVs, more selling and shipping EVs to customers.
But that’s Toyota
But they have more ground bracking solid state batteries to announce.
Why not just sell the Bz3?
Toyota have a lot of work to do before any post mentioning their name doesn’t get an automatic downvote.
Let me guess… This car doesn’t exist and is being used as a means to extend Toyota’s ever-shortening but ICE-only future?
Reminds me of the Volvo EX30
i am unsure if this will succeed in uk market: gasoline price is high ($7.113/gallon) but electricity price is high as well ($0.481/kwh). if yaris cross hybrid in uk gets 50 mpg, then I don’t think there is a lot of gas savings here. and it will probably cost £7K more to begin with. will be difficult to sell. we will see.

In the last 6-8 months I feel this sub went from getting excited about every new EV announcement to skepticism of every EV announcement.
Because it’s Toyota. Every headline is “Toyota reveals thing that they’ll never make” or “Toyota makes statement that is obvious fud”.
Circlejerk. Only answer needed
x for doubt
Very nice design.
An interesting note here is that the article mentions the resemblance to the eVX concept from Suzuki, which suggests this is one of the original cars Toyota said they’d be working on all the way back in 2019. At the time they also mentioned they’d be working on the model with Daihatsu, which suggests this could be a global model.
Looks good, but I’ll believe it when I see reviews lol
Toyota choose 1 game :
Base price $99,000
Range : 120 miles
Coming : Year 2035
I’d be excited if it was from anyone but toyota
