I’m a little biased since I’ve had one since July, but I can’t recommend it enough. It has some shortcomings, but as Matt said, I think it trumps every single other sub-$100k option out there. Range is the big one for a lot of people, though I usually get somewhere between 225-240 miles per 100% charge since I’m not always driving it like I stole it.

I’m extremely excited to see what Matt and other journalists think of the Ioniq 5 N once it launches. I leased my Ev6 GT, so I’m hoping some of the track-focused improvements make it over to the EV6 since I’m not a fan of the Ioniq 5 N’s styling. Still, the EV6 GT is a great bargain and it sounds like dealers are starting to let them go for some very enticing deals.

I’m happy to answer any questions anyone may have!

Yup. Go read all of the charging module issues people are having with the EV6. Numb driving. Suspension unnecessarily harsh. Road noise. Pass.

Numb driving, suspension unnecessarily harsh and road noise…sounds exactly like a Model 3 haha.

Apparently they’re releasing a facelift performance in '24. The steering on the model 3 is intentionally vague but otherwise it’s such a good car.

i would have considered this if it qualified for incentives where I live, BC Canada.

this doesnt qualify for 9k CAD incentive… so it is a pass… but this kind of endorsement is really good for the car and the brand and also bodes well for Hi5N

When did a $75000 vehicle become a “great bargain”? These vehicles are not being made for ordinary folks, and so the term “bargain” is meaningless when it’s priced out of reach of most of the market.

I own a model y long range and have put 15 days of rental into a ev6 gt. The Kia is a bit sportier but other than that give me my Tesla any day.

How are the seats so bad on the Kia? How is the user interface so bad always switching between climate and controls. And who translated the ui because it makes very little sense in settings

What are EV6 GTs generally leasing for, and how are they faring in the wave of Korean car thefts? Interesting to hear a long-term lease options take, since I’ve never seen this vehicle outside of magazine and YouTube short possession reviews.
