The problem is definitely that screens are bad for people and social media is inherently bad, not that we have handed over power in our society to rightwing silicon valley moguls with these kind of batshit crazy beliefs, and not just general power over society… power to shape how we socialize with one another online.
sigh
I mean someone like Steve Jobs was essentially the “”“best”“” case scenario of this type of person being given power in society and Steve Jobs was incredibly problematic as a person on multiple levels… including that he believed batshit crazy things.
“He annoyingly feels younger than me!” the 30-year-old tells triple j hack.

Wealthy people always think they can buy immortality.
It’s really not that bad of a disease. Still would be super interesting if playing with bullshit peptides made things like it more likely.
I had to go on a long-term medication recently and I agonized about it for a YEAR before deciding that pushing my biochemistry into an unusual state while I was still ticking over without severe acute problems was worth it. I’m always afraid of thinking I know better than evolution.
This is why you use
your kidsguinea pigs but apparently that’s not disruptive enough.
Well, yeah don’t think that is strange, if you eliminate stuff like aging and sickness, a random thing like a traffic accident (interesting he picked bus, and not a general traffic accident, or the more common car as a way to die, but the mega rich do hate public transport) will take you out.
There prob is already a science fiction story where a society of near immortals become mega risk averse because they fear falling down a stair and breaking their neck.
Is he really really alive to begin with though
To be entirely fair, if his books and interviews are to be believed, every minute of every day, every calorie of every meal, is scheduled, tracked, and analyzed. None of these biohacker guys seem to actually do things for fun.
So he may be alive, but he’s not really living.
