    I mean maybe. Or maybe for 2 decades capitol D Democrats have given Florida voters nothing to vote for, so they haven’t shown up.

    Politics doesn’t actually occur along a left right spectrum. Trumps at negative a shit ton with almost all demographics. By November the ball of string will be fully cooked.

    As long as its centrists/ incumbents/ “thirdway” types losing, then there is actually a chance in November.

      Florida used to be purple not that long ago. I’m not exactly hopeful but, at the very least, I expect her to do well enough to scare the shit out of both Republicans and Democrats.

        It’s not even a “purple” thing. It’s a “people are so desperate for change that they were willing to give even fascists a chance because the Democrats refused to offer anything but more of the same” thing. It is precisely because this candidate is not a liberal trying to triangulate a mythical “center” that doesn’t exist, that she might actually have a chance.
