Removing Trump requires 67 votes in the senate. There is no mathematical way to get those numbers in November. I don’t agree with him, but I understand where he is coming from.
It doesn’t matter. We need to weaponize impeachment, and impeach him EVERY time he commits another crime. Let there be hundreds, even thousands of impeachment proceedings under way, just for him. And then do the same to all of his henchmen.
It doesn’t matter that the Senate won’t convict, it still wastes MAGA time. It will still keep them tied up in court with expensive lawyers and publicists, and distract them for every second of the next two years.
MAGA is one of the only groups for which bullying is not only acceptable, but patriotic, and STRONGLY encouraged. They deserve it, so bully them relentlessly until they cry. Abuse the shit out of those psychopaths.

This administration has also set the precedent of going after people for purely political reasons. I am not suggesting the Dems do this, but I am suggesting they do as you say and try to prosecute every single crime they can. If it grinds the government to a halt so be it. It is long past time for a recogning of the corruption and embezzlement going on.

During the Biden administration, all they had to do was invoke the 14th Amendment, and Trump would never have gotten near the White House again, as well as a whole lot of MAGA lawmakers, too.

Not nearly every race, there are 22 R seats up for grabs and Dems currently have 45. They need every single seat. Some of those republican seats won by more than 20pts last election, also it’s not a guarantee that all dems vote for it.
I am a realist. Living in the clouds gets us nowhere. I am not saying we won’t get enough seats to put reins on him, but he needs to majorly fuck up to push democrats to to win 20 additional seats.
