  • Most folks in this sub are either under 21 and are on their first car, in which case it probably rattles and they can’t do anything about it, or they’re 40-60 and have had multiple cars and the rattles bother them.

    If someone is on their 5th car and says rattles don’t bother them, it’s because they can’t afford new cars.

    Why do people care about the design of a car? Why do people care how many cup holders there are? Why do people care how it drives?

    Because it’s a big fucking purchase and you spend a significant amount of time in it. Most people want it to feel nice. People don’t like spending $50k on a car that feels like a $20k car. It isn’t rocket science dude.
