Don’t sell the e46. You will regret it I did the same thing got a f87 M2 comp but I kept the e46. The sound of the s54 at 8k rpm the s55 doesn’t have the same sound. They are two different cars. If you can I recommend holding on to the e46. I put a Eonon android head unit. It looks like the factory nav unit but it has everything you want on it. It has navigation and car play and the steering wheel controls even work with it. I also got a backup camera that works great especially with the parktronic system. When I got the M2 it really made the M3 feel dated. With that head unit install it gave me all the functionality of the M2 except for I Drive. I plan on keeping the e46 as long as possible.

That looks like an overflow tank hose. You need a new radiator but it’s not going to leave you stranded like it is.

How and why did the police disable the car? Also where do you live? I have never heard of that. I have heard of them being impounded but in the US they can’t disable it impound is the only way.

Not all shops report to carfax none of the independent shops I know do it. The only place I know does it is the dealership. I think you have to pay a monthly fee and do extra paperwork. They don’t do it to save you money. That’s one of many reasons why Indy shops are cheaper.

If you take the torque converter out first you can lift them a lot easier. You can’t do that with installing but you certainly can to move them around.

I rebuild salvage cars for a living and I stay away from flood cars but seeing how long it has been owned it is probably ok. Just check with your financial situation because they may loan less on a salvage car.

Get rid of the orange bulb or orange cover on the turn signals. It will look so much better. You can get led bulbs that have no color but light up yellow so they are legal. That will look better than the current setup with minimal effort.

Don’t go to this guy. He obviously hasn’t done anything deeper than routine maintenance before. A bad T stat will definitely cause overheating and you can blow your engine. Find a more competent mechanic.

I had an identical one years ago. Same color scheme instead of your wheels I had BBS with blue center and polished lips. I painted them black myself. And I had US bumpers but I painted the rubber body color like the e30 convertible.

It honestly looked like a Mazda at first. It looks like every other suv on the road and the badge the way the light only hits the 2 lower portions of the star it looks like a Mazda emblem. Look at and you will see. Also the color the badges blend in. Would look better with black badges.
