That picture could be normal rpm range on a cold start on a cold weather day. If it’s idling at that range, run far away
To add on to this - Mazda operates on an allocation basis. So dealers are allocated a certain number of each type of model.
Find a reputable dealer, and if they don’t have exact trim or options you want, see if they’re willing to search local inventory, find what you’re looking for, and do a dealer trade (essentially both dealers agree to swap inventory). If you do this, make sure to ask if they’ll honor what they would sell the car at price-wise. Note: not all dealers will do this so this comment is not a guarantee
I was able to get my ‘23 Turbo CX-5 in the color I wanted for about $2k cheaper at a different dealer than where it was originally allocated to.
If you want any guarantee of anything, make sure to get it in writing WITH the Sales Manager’s signature!
