Hello Everyone,

I am in the market to buy a new car and the Mazda 3 Sport 2023 is what I have settled for. This is the first time owning and or purchasing a vehicle and unsure as to how to go about it.

If I were to build the vehicle on the Mazda website. Is the information relayed to a dealership nearby? If so, will they honor the financing interest rate selected on the manufacturer website?

I’ve searched and searched for used cars with low milage and they are all 22k CAD plus 💀. Pretty much the same price as a new car financing wise. Most of the low milage going for cheap all have an accident history on them.

Any help is appreciated 😊.

To add on to this - Mazda operates on an allocation basis. So dealers are allocated a certain number of each type of model.

Find a reputable dealer, and if they don’t have exact trim or options you want, see if they’re willing to search local inventory, find what you’re looking for, and do a dealer trade (essentially both dealers agree to swap inventory). If you do this, make sure to ask if they’ll honor what they would sell the car at price-wise. Note: not all dealers will do this so this comment is not a guarantee

I was able to get my ‘23 Turbo CX-5 in the color I wanted for about $2k cheaper at a different dealer than where it was originally allocated to.

If you want any guarantee of anything, make sure to get it in writing WITH the Sales Manager’s signature!
