Curious when these reduced prices will actually affect the car market and everyday purchases. I could see Tesla dropping prices in the US quickly but I’m sure Ford and GM would find an excuse.
Tbf, you buying a Tesla doesn’t mean you love much Musk, and it doesn’t make him that much richer. In the grand scheme of things, it’s irrelevant.
The good news is that by next year, the NACS adapter will be available on most makes. So that will get you access to the Tesla network without having to buy their cars.
Has anyone tried to use the IL credit for a lease buyout? I was wondering if it was possible since the requirements state that it must be for a new or used vehicle, but not for leased. However, when one does a buyout, isn’t it considered used?
I was thinking this would be a good way to take advantage of both the lease tax credit and the IL tax credit for EVs like the Volvo EX30 that don’t qualify for the non-lease credit.
Can you heat up the car with the phone app? That is a feature I really like with Tesla and was curious if Hyundai does it.
