We all know the charge rate slows down especially after 80%.
But I always charge to 100% when I am going on a bit of a road trip. I like to start out at maximum charge. Get as far as I can on my first charge.
We don’t know this persons deal. Sometimes you really do need that extra 10-20%.

I imagine if every CEO was on social media as frequently as musk, we would think the same about a lot of them. Most likely they’re all egomaniacs. When I’m making any purchase whether it’s a car or a phone whatever it is. I just get the product that is going to meet my needs. I don’t own a Tesla.
I would say it depends on where you live as well. I live in the states. My city has plenty of fast chargers. I live in an apartment with no charging at my apartment. I also have a couple of fast chargers at grocery stores within a mile to a mile and a half from my apartment. So I combine shopping maybe grabbing some dinner out. Yesterday I grocery shopped and took a little walk, so it was nice day out
