It’s been confirmed the M3/M4 won’t get 8.5 the LCI. Also, when it is available the M cars will have the 8.5 backend software but no UI update since they have a unique setup.

There is no difference after the break in. They just change the oil and differential fluid.

My M3 was stuck in quality for a couple of weeks. When I asked BMW, they said it’s most likely due to a part shortage and they leave it in that status until the part can be installed.
