Custom ordered a BMW. Was in scheduled production status for a long time. 11/8 that changed to quality check and it has been in that status for the past 7 days. Has anyone experienced this before? That’s a long time to stay in quality check mode.

My M3 was stuck in quality for a couple of weeks. When I asked BMW, they said it’s most likely due to a part shortage and they leave it in that status until the part can be installed.
