    Unless you plan to keep this truck for 20 years I don’t see why you wouldn’t go with the new Canyon / Colorado. More interior space. More power and arguably more attractive exterior. I’m sorry but that taco chin guard is hideous. Also what’s going on with the rear seat in the Tacoma. Did it get smaller over the last generation?

        Sadly the manual transmission is only on the lower end trims and only with the weaker powertrain option. This is why I bought the 23 Pro instead of waiting 6 months for these.

          You can get it with the mid-range engine, you just can’t get it with the top hybrid powertrain. The mid-range engine has about the same amount of horsepower as the outgoing V6 and a lot more torque. It’s not a bad option.

            This limits you away from getting the TRD Pro which was the trim I was shopping for specifically because I didn’t want to have to do any aftermarket modifications to the suspension or camera setup.

      The Tacoma’s hybrid powertrain bumps it above the Canyon for me. A little more powerful, but also a 2400W inverter in the bed.
