This. Since 2000, Honda has had serious brakes, engine, and transmission problems. So many people remember the 90s when they think of Honda.
I banged several hos who drove Probes back in my day.
I’m typically spending $80-90K on full-size pickups and SUVs and I care very much about interior quality and the quality of the sound system. I spent a long weekend in 23 Escalade a few weekends ago and other than the seats and surround sound, the dash and interior was cheesy AF for that kind of money. My 23 Limited and Platinum F-150s interiors aren’t anything to be proud of considering the msrps.
I’ve owned several 10 spd in Furds with 3.5 EB and when tuned right with a 5 Star tuner, they are fantastic.
Stock, the shift strategy is garbage, especially 3-5 and 5-3. The exception is the 23 trucks. I have 23 Platinum and Limited Powerboost at the moment they shift nice even stock. The Limited truck was recently Livernois tuned.
If you’re a Tier 1/FT employee, the raise doesn’t even cover inflation since the last contract but whatever floats their boat.
The Japanese really need to hire new designers, especially for their interiors. Few people have ever sat in a Japanese vehicle and said, wow, this is a class-leading interior.
Ozone machine for a few days with the HVAC blower on.
The Mustang interior still sucks and looks like a rental car.
They all got too fat to fit in cars like that.
No crisis here. I’m under 50 and reached a point where I could pay cash for an expensive toy.
The GM thing is easy to figure out. Buy back $10B in stock, boost the share price so the executives can execute their stock options at a high, then we see what GMs plan is…
