For months now I’ve been torn between buying a Model Y and buying one of Hyundai’s Ioniq models. Today I pulled the trigger and bought my first EV, an Ioniq 6 SEL. Overall I just felt like I was getting more car for the same price. I’m absolutely blown away at how much Hyundai has turned their brand around compared to 5 years ago. The 5 year 60k mile bumper to bumper and the 10/100k battery with two years free charging and 3 years free maintenance is what ultimately sold me. But dang if those Tesla seats aren’t the most comfortable things in the world.

I own an Ioniq 5 and test drove a 6. The latter honestly felt a bit cheaper than the former; the build quality was there but it felt like there was more plastic

Otherwise still just as fantastic of a car. Congrats, OP!

What cars, outside luxury cars with some wood accents, have anything other than plastic interiors?

It’s about how the plastic is used. There are Lexuses with many plastic parts, but you have to hunt for them; cheaper cars put them prominently on common touch points.

I heard the wheels on the RWD are staggered. Is this true? i guess simple googling on my end will have worked lol. But i am asking bc i had a fiat 500e for 5 years and it had staggared weehels and i couldnt get a place to rotate my tires becuase they would have to take them off the riims to ratate. Well they did i just didnt want to pay the stupid high price to do it. Anyway which meant my tires wore out wayyy faster.
