Ever since getting an EV, I’ve noticed drivers to be a-holes! This guy in a huge truck spit in my direction for no reason!
All over social media people will key teslas, and talk crap. Has anyone else had weird experiences?

I live in Alabama and I have not noticed any appreciable changes in how people treat me on the road than when I had a gas car. I’ve even had people who are staunchly anti-EV say they understand why I bought it after I take them for a ride.
The internet is just a giant echo chamber, and you also see isolated events amplified in ways they couldn’t otherwise be.
Here in the south of the UK, anyone hating on EVs would soon get exhausted by their own rage (no pun intended).
Where I live, one in 30 cars is an EV.
I’ve only had one incident driving a Tesla and that was a “wanker” sign from someone in a huge, US-style “monster truck”. I expect his arm is tired by now.
Here in Norway - the EV capital of the world - I certainly don’t notice anything in the streets. People on the road are the exact same idiots they’ve always been.
I explained to a friend how I have three modes I can switch between:
1 Eco mode, which is for efficiency and is like driving a 4 cylinder 2. Standard mode, which is like driving a V6 3. Sport mode, which is like driving a turbo or a V8. I told him how I showed my brother that with a push of a button I could punch the pedal and bury him in the seat.
It’s like I have 3cars but only one payment. He seemed impressed.
I live in the same state and the only bad experience I’ve had in 5 years was someone slinging the remains of their milkshake on the front of my Tesla. Maybe it was just hate for Elon?
