The conflict between Swedish unions and Tesla heated up on Friday as a supplier of critical components joined in a sympathy action to get the electric car maker to sign a collective bargaining agreement for its Swedish workers.
The only thing that you need to know is that the Swedish unions have destroyed the Swedish car manufacturers. Saab had to be sold off to GM who promptly killed it, and Volvo has been purchased by a Chinese company, who will also kill it, once their needs have been met.
I’m sure that was all because of unions and had absolutely nothing to do with the auto market consolidating into a few large groups over the past decades. How many independent small (non-luxury) car makers still exist in the world?
