I’m not particularly knowledgeable on every BMW model, but aren’t those specifically different variants which are more track-oriented? A regular M3 isn’t.
I love my CS. I love the extra power, CS only color, more aggressive DCT tuning, suspension tuning, I love the better handling and I love that it weighs less than the others. It’s been my daily driver for almost four years now. I prefer it over the regular cars.
I’ve also lost count of the dozens upon dozens of regular M3 and M4 running around that I’ve encountered with a cheap copy of the hood, front splitter, wheels, rear spoiler and especially the taillights of my CS.

I only have the 330e. It’s my first car but honestly it’s fantastic. It’s pretty incredible compared to the Hiluxes I drive at work.
It’s a shame because now I will always be wanting an M car.
