Two BMW’s and 3 Audi’s: Audi has better interiors and very nice designs on the exterior as of late. BMW has better driving sports sedans and SUV’s.

I drove BMW for two decades, and switched to Audi in 2014 because the BMW design was getting sketchy. Still in the same 2013 S4 - it’s been a joy to drive, and at 253k miles has been the most reliable vehicle I’ve owned.

Also own both and love them in different ways. My wife finds the A4 way less comfortable than pretty much any BMW we’ve tried tho, she doesn’t like the suspension. I think it’s fine but there’s also exactly no difference between sport suspension and comfort, which is mildly annoying. I like the Audi interior and overall design more but the electronics are super laggy and feel pretty ancient compared to most other brands. Both are very fun to drive.

Longtime BMW owner with e39 M5, e60 m5, e70 x5, F15 x5. Got a Q7 TDI to change brands and I ABSOLUTELY disliked the way Audi’s drive. I thought the driving position had too many blind spots and then there was the way my Q7 disliked to turn. I thought something was broken on my Q7, until someone told me the engine on Audis sits far ahead of the steering axle which means they will never be as happy to turn into corners as even my heavy x5 with near 50/50 weight distribution. I might consider a Porsche at some point but def not getting an Audi again 😂

My first car was an Audi and I loved that car sooo much! Audi is good can be reliable if you don’t abuse it. They’re Quattro is great on snow and possibly better than BMWs XDrive
