As a fan of all 3 German luxury marques, It’s probably truer today than any time in the past too. The real crime is despite all the platform and parts sharing, it hasn’t done much for reliability, maintenance and the cost of repairs for either brand. They were never going to pass down the cost savings to consumers, so it would have been nice to pass down a better product.
