I had a TTS in Vegas yellow and to be honest, it was one of my favorite cars. I absolutely LOVED it. The seat was comfortable, the overall driving experience was top tier.

I was traveling a bit much for work and the small gas tank was tough - I felt like I was filling up a few times a week. But fuck, it was such a beautiful and tight driving car. RIP.

I hope they bring it back as electric someday day.

Had a TT as a rental once years ago. My sister loved the design and shape of it.

Sorry! I had other pictures that far better illustrated my point, but it seems like the Mods weren’t in approval…

    I miss my TT mk2.

I hope I will be able to buy another one before prices will skyrocket.

They are already rising, but i think that with the switch to BEVs in the EU TT will be really sought after

The TT and the R8 are IMO the best designed cars, in the sense that I can see an almost 17! year old R8 and it still looks “modern”. The same thing with the TT, it almost doest age.

They problem is they drive like shit. The chassis isn’t exactly fun and the seating position is super weird

Walter de Silva is just a magician.

Go look some of the models he designed, they simply have a timeless look.

Some notable examples are the Alfa 147, 156, the B8 A4 and A5, the Golf 7, all cars that with new LED headlights could be released today

The first gen TT looks like a beetle lol. The newer ones look nice but the first one’s exterior definitely hasn’t held up.

Tbf from that list the only car I can think that’s aged better is the 1st gen Lexus IS.

That thing looks like it’s from 2005 at least

          RX7 FD. R32/33 GT-R. A80 Supra.

From that link - First gen Lexus IS, Z3M Roadster, Maserati 3200GT, 996 911, Subaru Legacy and the Volvo S80 all aged better than the first gen TT IMO.

In my opinion it’s looked dated for over a decade now. Awful looking thing. They improved upon it very quickly though.

It was built on the beetle platform and it’s really apparent when you look at the doors.

I think the first TT is “dated” in the way that we look back at mid century modern furniture today.

It’s dated, but it still looks retro/cool. I think this is the fate of the first gen TT.

The interior of the first gen TT was super unique for its time, but not something I’d call modern. I used to daily one and it was almost too spartan to be comfortable. It did look nice though.

People are shocked when I tell them my TTS is 7 years old.

Audis in general seem to age very well.

RIPower to one of my favourites ever. All of its iterations were beautiful (to me lol), and even in roadster form they are stunning. Hate to see it leave, but ever since I was a youngin I’d loved to see them go. Will pour a crisp lager in your name tiTTy :(

also, Tourist Trophy? tf were they thinking lol

It’s pretty hard to tell unless you’re pushing past the limit. Most of them are Haldex AWD, it’s no true Quattro but it’s pretty damned good.

Yeah but Haldex AWD feels like FWD 90% of the time and like quattro the other 10% both of which understears.
It’s allot more fun to drive a car that oversteers a little. Especially on snowy days where you can drift at low speeds
