Was at a ‘Friendsgiving’ and a guy was talking about the Tesla Model 2 being an entry-level Tesla that would rival the Toyota Camry pricewise. But I don’t see why Tesla would cut into their Model 3’s sales like that. Plus the model 3 is fairly cheap nowadays with price cuts

Yes, it’s absolutely not a rumor. It’s coming soon and it’s going to be game changing.

Here’s a picture taken with an early prototype that was recently unveiled in Musk’s biography https://electrek.co/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2023/09/Screenshot-2023-09-12-at-7.42.04-PM.jpg

So far here’s what we know about it: The lowest trim of this model will be ~$25,000 It will probably be a hatchback (see image) It’s being built on a new vehicle architecture where the components are ~90% fully designed and (mostly) built by Tesla It will be built in Austin Texas first, then later at a new factory being built in Mexico.

Likely Speculation: Versions of this car will likely be built at their other factories around the world. A version of the car will be sold without a steering wheel and will be called the “robotaxi”

Nah, this is just an anti Tesla sub. It’s kinda funny actually. I posted facts and get downvoted to oblivion. TSLA bears spotted!

Calling that thing a “gamechanger” is completely delusional. Even at a $25,000 price point there is already enough competition in the market.

And given Tesla’s fading positive brand recogition thanks to their narcissistic CEO and their quality issues even neglecting competition from China you have several $25,000 cars in the market already.
