The towing capacity is great. I will only need it to push slow pokes out of the way with my optional battering ram, and it is more than good enough for that.

I think it’s more of an image thing. It’s going to be a status symbol for a while especially with low production for the forseeable future. Sure most buyers won’t need that payload, but it gives them a number to brag about how superior it is to other trucks as they drive it to Starbucks.

It’ll be interesting once these start appearing on the road. I’m excited about it, it’s unlike any other vehicle out there. I want to try driving one, although I wouldn’t buy one because it won’t fit in my garage.

So on the flip side, 25% tow 2+ times a year, 30% offroad 2+ times a year, and 65% use the bed 2+ times a year.

Since none of those use cases are mutually inclusive or exclusive, somewhere between 65% and 100% of truck owners use their trucks for various “truck stuff” at least twice a year.

I’m pretty convinced the vast majority of people who own trucks would be better served by a Maverick or Ridgeline and I wish some effort would be put into electrifying that class.

I wouldn’t consider this reliable as the same poster still says it has an exoskeleton and shatter resistant glass.

But what would be the range while towing? That factor is what keeps things like an electric F150 from being adopted by any serious person.

I don’t give a single fuck about these numbers until I see real world testing showing how many miles you can take either load. My bet is it’s 80 or less, which means the figures are meaningless.

Also, I legit would not drive one of these abominations if it were given to me free and clear with free charging for life.
