I had tried to c clamp the pistons back and even that won’t work they won’t retract and I can’t get the caliber over my break pads what’s the issue

    If you’ve never rebuilt a caliper before I’d suggest you buy a new one. There’s usually a core charge so keep this one and bring it back when you are done

      Yeah I’d go for the new caliper as well. Makes the fix less difficult.

      I’d also go for the caliper rebuild kit and rebuild the old caliper in your spare time. It will be a good learning experience and you’ll have a spare caliper for the future.
