Tea motherfucks, do you drink it?
can I smoke it?
Real MenTM smoke their tea.
Where the whisk(e)y at?
In the coffee, duh
Not with my Whisk(e)y you don’t.

And maybe a pipe later.
I’d argue the coffee is better for you vs the monster but don’t smoke.
And vaping is barely better than traditional cigs despite what people want to believe. They’re both horrible in different ways.
Don’t get me wrong. Vaping is a highly underregulated market, and only god knows what the flavoring and coloring additives might do to your health. Even the health impacts of liquid base are not fully understood. BUT people who say vapes are just as bad as cigarettes, don’t fully comprehend the damages done by repeatedly inhaling actual smoke.
This right here. Vaping needs way more regulation, but come on, the physics here are quite straightforward.
No need to argue. Caffeine is only bad for your health if you take insane amounts of it, and coffee itself has actual benefits, something you could literally never state about energy drinks. As for smoking vs. vaping, dunno.
Coffee filtered through paper filters to remove the cafestol, in moderation, shows marked health benefits.
Define moderation.
3-6 mg of cafeine per KG of bodymass according to research cited on the old before-brainworm FDA website.
If your coffee tastes like piss and your piss smells like coffee, take a break.
Is vitamin B really that bad for you? Or taurine?
The caffeine is mostly what makes energy drinks unhealthy too. That and the sugar but white monster is sugar free so if you put shit in your coffee instead of drinking it properly (black and no sugar), I’d argue that coffee is just as bad for you as energy drinks.
B6 can cause nerve damage long term. Taurine is just a part of bile, it is an amino acid that is in basically all meat. You aren’t going to get enough of it from energy drinks to swing the needle one way or the other. They also have sugar or sugar alcohols that can fuck with blood glucose in all kinds of fun ways. Coffee, on its own, is basically just caffeine and water, it is going to be healthier than most other drinks categorically.
also aluminium cans = microplastics
aluminium is not safe for storing wet acidic things such as drinks, so the inside is plastic-coated
i wonder, which is worse: the microplastics, or the aluminium salts that would be the alternative problem?
I knew there was a reason I craved the strength and certainty of steel…
Honestly been wondering that a lot. I drink coffee daily. I don’t feel like it’s killing me. Surely it’s not as bad as monster, but what if the amount I drink comes close to the same impact? Is receiving a daily dose of mental stimulants not supposed be part of a healthy diet? 🫠
Vaping is turning out just as bad as smoking the more we learn of its long term consequences.
I never heard this. do you have sources that I can read to learn more?
https://med.stanford.edu/visit/the-details/HealthEffects.html
https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC12628669/
https://www.lung.org/blog/vaping-isnt-harmless
https://www.cdc.gov/tobacco/e-cigarettes/health-effects.html
There is still a dearth of evidence compared to 100+ years we have for smoking tobacco but the more we learn the less it’s possible to ignore how it’s turning out. Remember for decades that tobacco companies white washed cigarette smoking and even tried to make it sound therapeutic.
Non-smoker current vapers had higher incident risk of respiratory symptoms (relative risk, RR=1.90; 95% CI: 1.28–2.83) but statistically non-significant risk of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) (RR=2.53; 95% CI: 0.96–6.67) compared to never users. They also had lower incident risk of respiratory symptoms compared to non-vaper current smokers (RR=0.75; 95% CI: 0.64–0.89) and dual users (dual use vs vaping, RR=1.26; 95% CI: 1.03–1.55).
Do you guys ever read what you link or what? We consistently know that vaping is bad for respiratory health but better than smoking, it’s very well establishedat this point
And in another one of those links it explains that we really don’t know yet. It hasn’t been long enough to gather all the data. But please continue to cherry pick whatever supports your claim.
I’m not making any claims, you are
E-cigarettes may have the potential to benefit adults who smoke and are not pregnant if used as a complete substitute for all smoked tobacco products.
This sentence in the last link that you included contractics the suggestion that vaping is just as bad as smoking.
I think there is also a specific use for cigarettes in that fashion, in any case cope harder. Vaping is bad for you.
Energy cigs (they are regular cigs with a lil bit of ice sprinkled in)
Vaping and coffee are both less likely to kill you than their alternatives
Seems like it’s not about traditional vs modern
Yep, that’s why vapes so heavily promoted. Who cares if you get lead poisoning and are stupid if you die later and can work longer.
Vapes have lead? I thought they were concerned about the aerosolized polyethylene glycol.

give me the CluMa rn
Club mate is so fucking good it’s unreal
Remove the cigs and it’s actually a good upgrade, coffee does not cause much issues unless you drink 3 glasses a day
Whew, I have at least 4 coffees, so I skipped the danger zone
Phew

Me self medicating ADHD with 4-5 cups of expresso
Expresso huh?
French
Xometimex people make typox
It’s shorthand for the espresso express, a train route from Sleepy Town to Awakesville. All aboard the expresso! 🚄

Hahaha
I had cigarettes and coffee for breakfast today
You shouldn’t smoke cigarettes.
But a French breakfast is a glorious way to start a day.
I prefer a joint and a cappuccino but when in paris
I think the world is a better place without foam cups and cigarettes
Vaping and energy drinks have there own problems but are not nearly as bad
Those disposable vapes are so fucking bad for the environment
They’re also mostly for kids, who shouldn’t be vaping anyway. They should be banned.
Idk, I’m a full adult and like them. They’re yummy.
I like the fruit flavored nicotine pouches too.
I don’t like vaping, but you do you. But please at least get a vape with replaceable pods. You’re basically throwing away an entire phone battery each time
I like them and I like vaping and the fruity flavors, but I don’t buy or use anymore don’t worry.
Get a refillable vape. You only need to change the coil, and it’s recyclable. You can get all the same flavours. It’s also cheaper as well as not being environmentally destructive.
…and your lungs
Sure they are probably better than cigarettes but the bar is extremely low
I’m not one to complain about what harms people choose to expose themselves to. Everyone owns their own body. The environmental damage effects us all though.
It makes health insurance more expensive for everyone, at least here in Germany
It is crucial to draw a distinction between direct and indirect harms, tangible and abstract harms. Does the problem lie in the individual’s right to bodily autonomy and self determination? Or does it lie in the design of a system that forces the consequences of individuals’ decisions to be diffused across the entire population? I don’t really know, but it raises a lot of questions. Is it fair to punish those who don’t make the choice to smoke? Is it fair to treat those who make the choice to smoke differently? Discussion around smoking induces a very, very strong bias.
Consider something else: Should I be made to feel guilty for the economic impact if I choose to cut myself with a knife vs. if someone else chooses to cut me with a knife? Obviously, any compassionate person would be more focused on what caused the decision. Anybody would know in this scenario that inducing guilt over the economics of self harm is fucked. Now, if someone else cut me, the obvious way to repair the situation would be to punish the perpetrator.
Do you see what I’m getting at? You shouldn’t be mad at the smoker. Generally, nobody chooses to harm themselves. They misunderstood the risks, fell for it, and got addicted. You should be mad at the cigarette companies for not paying restitution for their societal harm. Maybe smokers should be held responsible for those they spread the social contagion of smoking to, but they are in no way culpable for the indirect, abstract harms you perceive. They aren’t choosing to cost you money, your government is choosing it by not holding the perpetrator responsible.
Fair. However, what do you think about people who drive recklessly? They risk their own life and spend more money for fuel, perhaps also for a sports car but they also put others in danger, increase traffic deaths and pollution.
Is it an underlying psychological disorder that makes them do it? Is it the marketing of the auto industry and they fell for it or are they directly responsible?
It’s a bad direct comparison with smoking but there is a line somewhere where people are either directly responsible or everything is predetermined and a result of outer circumstances.
I’m glad the social democracy in Germany can (so far) account for “selfish” individual decisions. It’s also one of the fields where taxation could be very effective. E.g. taxes on tobacco are quite high in Germany but less for fuel and cars, mostly because of our own car industry but also because pretty much everyone depends on them, regardless of their driving style.
My comment sounded pretty salty but I just wanted to point out that harmful individual choices can affect others. What I’m actually mad about is that the social security in Germany is slowly deteriorating. There’s enough money and resources to uphold it but US inspired management and economy styles direct the resources into billionaires pockets while at the same time playing the “look over there, the poor people and immigrants took your money and get everything for free” game.
If you want to drive recklessly, I have no problem with it IF you go somewhere where endangering others is impossible. I feel the same way about smoking. Overconsumption of fossil fuels harms the environment, the same way littering cigarette butts does, but you don’t have to do either of these things to indulge in your vice. If someone chooses to harm themselves, they have a responsibility to fully mitigate the “real” risk to others. By “real”, I mean unavoidable, tangible, physical and/or psychological harm caused by their actions. Not things that really result from economic math and policy decisions. The individual does not have a responsibility to constrain their choices based on their government’s bad policy, and socially enforcing that they do (through guilt/shame) is really stupid. It only serves to hand governments more power than they ought to have, and it reinforces said bad policy.
I think there is a lot of confusion in society, both about what it means to mitigate harm and what harm is itself. One helpful (though not universally applicable) idea I have to clarify things is that if you need to use a calculator to determine if you’re harmed or not, you should be blaming your government.
I don’t want to smell your substance use
You think I’m advocating for people to smoke in public? You think I’m advocating for people to smoke at all? Why don’t you re-read my comment and pay close attention to my wording.
You can cut your finger off at the 2nd knuckle or the 3rd knuckle.
Paper cup coffees and regular cigs are better of these evils. Foam is cursed, but not as cursed as disposable or even rechargeable vape. It’s like comparing soft and cold, but someone’s more obvious individual likeness to get a lung cancer may be less significant than a trace of li-pol batteries they’d leave after them, I believe.
I think they are all terrible. Why compare them when we can simply do none of the above
Because you compared them
Yeah change shit to piss.
How about… None of those and touch the grass idk?
If you’re gonna make me get up too early to go to a place I don’t want to be and deal with people I hate I’m gonna need drugs to keep from causing a scene.
Yeah, can we stop normalizing extremely harmful and addictive substance use? It’s really weird how there are so many pro-smoking posts cropping up everywhere.
Anyone I’ve ever met IRL that smokes deeply regrets ever starting and would never encourage others to pick it up.
Idk, if a meme convinces someone to start smoking, they probably would get into it regardless.

Aren’t you convinced yet?
Memes that depict it positively are a subtle way to normalize the behavior.
True, but so does seeing it on the street. That’s just cohabitation with other humans.
No need to have that glorified on the internet though :)
At least IRL, you’re reminded by the reality that they make the entire surrounding area smell like absolute shit.
As a one time thing, sure. But when they start seeing it several times a day, it makes it seem normal. It maybe adds to their curiosity so they end up trying it.
Big “I just sold them the drugs, I didnt make them use it” energy right here.
That’s a hell of a leap to conclusions, lol
Big tobacco posting to little networks.
I’ll stick to Coke Zero, thank you. And smoking in any form is an instant no no from me
Drink decaf, don’t smoke - spit on ‘tradition’, do things you like.
If not for the Marlboro at the bottom, I would have been left puzzled what the top left item is.
It’s a boofer. You use it before anal sex to scent and clean your butthole via steaming
You think everything’s a boofer
can confirm. tetris has a fantastic smell to their butthole. it’s kinda floral.
Can you send me their underwear, I want a whiff.
no.
Fine, I’ll go get it myself.

The bulge isn’t 100% accurate though, mine is girthier, and L-shaped
It’s lavender
