No, and if that is the impression i gave was I was wrong. What I’m saying is that the only reason those kids are being killed is that the Palestinians are using schools, hospitals, and civilians as shields.
The truth is that the Israeli forces are trying to limit collateral damage, while protecting themselves from terrorist attacks.
If Israel wanted to limit collateral damage, they could. Would it be riskier to Israeli forces to send soldiers into some terrorist hideout instead of missiles? Absolutely. They put the lives of children on a scale against soldiers who knew what they were signing up for and decided killing children was fine. 64,000 children, according to UNICEF.
If that’s the Israeli army limiting child deaths, if the world we live in is one where they cared, or tried, to save any Palestinian children, then they must be the most incompetent army in history. Other evidence makes it clear it’s not incompetence, but for this discussion, I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt, which still leaves me with absolute incompetence. Wikipedia tells me there’s 169,500 active Israeli Defence Force members. That’s a dead child for every 3 service members. That’s a genocide, even if it were a genocide through incompetence.
