They think that somehow socialism (whatever that means) will magically emerge once Trump brings about the downfall of the US. That’s why they hate the Democrats so much. And of course they hate democracy as a principle because deep down they just want to be part of the ruling class.
They don’t actually think socialism will take over.
They want to demonstrate that the only way forward is Chinese/Soviet/NK style authoritarianism. They want the US to collapse into warlords.
That’s exactly what they wanted. It wasn’t an accident.
Why do they want it? Accelerationism?
That’s one way to put it. Seems like they just want the West to collapse as justice for, well, most of history. Not that I blame them, on principle, but it’s a fairly simplistic view. Collapsing world powers are typically bad business for the world in general.
Problem with personifying a broad collection of peoples over centuries. It makes sense if “The West” was a dude, not every living soul who happens to be in a certain place at a certain time on earth.
