Among decided and leaning voters, the BC Conservatives lead the BC NDP by just under 8 points, 44.7% to 37.2% with the Green at 11.2%, One BC at 5.7% and Centre BC Party at 1.1% rounding out the field.
Looks like malpractice.

No, that’s your personal definition of astroturfing, which doesn’t really align well with its more common usage. Astroturfing is, as per wikipedia, “the deceptive practice of hiding the sponsors of an orchestrated message or organization to make it appear as though it originates from, and is supported by, unsolicited grassroots participants.”
It’s a fairly accurate term, I feel, for someone that pushes an absurd amount of, generally very one sided/biased news articles, to a social media site to make it appear as though that view point / position is the dominant position on the site, and to drown out other voices/perspectives. I’ve noted before that your contribution volumes are a fairly absurd, and obvious, outlier, especially on Canadian communities. You alone have about 14,000 articles posted in your two years on lemmy based on your profile. It’s a funny coincidence that your posts per day is ~20, and Rule 7 on the World News community is:
To be clear, not saying you’re the reason that rule exists – you don’t seem to tend to focus exclusively on one community afterall. But your post volume makes it a nice rule to reference to help explain why I comment on it, when you choose to engage with me now and then.
