If you hate establishment Dems, voting in the primary is so very critical. And more than that, speaking up and volunteering to text people and go door-to-door if you can - provide whatever support you can BEFORE the primary, then vote in the primary.
And then, of course, vote int he general because no matter which one won the primary, establishment Dems still end up doing more for human rights than fascists.
But yeah - those who only complain in the general and worse, don’t bother to vote in the general after not doing anything before either… they are part of the problem.
Caucus. Primary. Vote. I know every state is different, but find your local Democratic party (or DSA or anything you want, really) and show up. You’ll have a lot of influence there because you’ll be one of like 20 people that shows up. And it really matters.
You can influence your local party and that influence puts pressure on the regional parties and so on. We lost a crucial caucus endorsement in my neck of the woods that cost a progressive the primary. And I saw how close the caucus vote was. It really does matter.
