      Yes, because they need to maintain the narrative that progressive candidates are ‘fringe’ and only ever win by chance or cheating. That way when the general election comes around, potential progressive voters will be disinclined to vote for the progressive candidate, or they may just not go vote at all, because they have been convinced that the progressive can’t really win.

        Something like that. The sometimes mystifying (to me) New York Times effect, which always seems to enable conservatives or, at best, the democrats’ right wing. “We don’t win against republicans because we still aren’t enough like them”

        aww shit I should’ve seen that. But my statement still stands. Each time they still act like it’s a surprise that people have had enough in droves.

          Yeah, similar article by ABC says “upset”. Then they compare the money that each candidate raised… It wasn’t an upset, people are angry at the mistreatment we’ve been going through. The money in politics is an abomination.
