Maybe, maybe not, but in this case you are pretty clearly breaking their rules about no bigotry, and then doubling down on it repeatedly.
So once again, they definitely got it right this time.
I’d also point out that this type of rhetoric is an excellent way to make Russian propaganda against the west seem accurate.
Me? That’s not even my post, my guy. Though I agree with OP. Anyone who directly or indirectly supports the terrorist nation (including by inaction) more than deserves to be called an orc and worse.
Directly and indirectly, including through inaction, huh? So pretty much every baby in the world is a literal manifestation of evil or worse.
I rarely take claims of russophobia seriously. You sir are a russophobe.
You sir must be a really good farmer with how quickly you build strawmen.
You instantly zero in on anything you can stretch into “bigotry” that is directed against russia but ignore blatant systemic bigotry in support of them. If pointing that out makes me a russophobe, then I’m clearly not trying hard enough.
Wtf is “systemic bigotry in support of Russia”? Are you talking about Russian propaganda? Yeah, that’s common. Spreading around is a pretty defining feature of propaganda.
Because claiming that an entire nationality is fundamentally and irredeemably evil is pretty clearly bigotry.
This is you claiming all citizens are military targets
Is it?
You’re saying civilians count as military targets because they may have undergone military training, yes.
Did I claim that they are all inherently and incorrigibly evil?
Edit: Ukraine is quite clearly in the right in this situation, and they are justified in using whatever military means possible to achieve the following two war goals:
And yes, civilians (Russia also has a draft, but it’s a bit easier to cheat I think) will die in the process. It’s war. Shit happens.
The only way Ukraine can become the bad guy in this situation is if they meet both of the above conditions, and then seek to continue an offensive war. This becomes a lot easier when you see your enemy not as a simple enemy, but as literally demonic evil. Which is what “orc” refers to both in fantasy and history. Soldiers, those directly involved in the war effort, I get that. Still not a fan, but that’s at least a direct enemy. Every Russian ever? No.
edit2: You will note that this is what Israel did. They removed Hamas from within their territory (with some details, Assume gaza/west bank ain’t theirs), and then went on an offensive war to grab land. You will also note the sheer amount of dehumanizing rhetoric pointed at Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria that allowed this to happen.
