You seem like you’re being intentionally obtuse and ignoring everything I said.
Every Benchy is useless, they’re not supposed to be useful. They’re supposed to be a benchmark, to show success and failure points. That’s their whole purpose. You make a shitty Benchy, then you dial things in and make a better Benchy, then you dial things in even more and make a decent Benchy.
It’s not reinventing the wheel, it’s designing a new wheel as a proof of concept, which can be iterated and improved upon until it’s actually good.
So you start from the failed useless item (Broken Benchy), and work your way up? WTF? Let’s just reinvent the wheel a dozen times or so…
