    tbf, modern tech absolutely sucks.

been so long since I was excited about a new phone, now I just use mine however long I can, and dread replacing it, because even though I get a device much newer than my broken phone, it’s somehow the same or worse.

Tech went from something to make our lives better, to something extremely antagonistic.

When Europe mandates swappable batteries it will become easy to keep a phone for a long time.

I completely agree - I’m even dreading installing updates, wondering: “oh, what features will I lose now? What additional AI harvester will be installed? Why am I not allowed to turn this off?”

It’s becoming the apparatus of our enslavement. People can feel deep down when we’re in danger. Hopefully.

I’m onboard with sending all of humanity to the Hadean Era. It’ll be sweet. Maybe we’ll even bootstrap paradox life into existence.
