        What effort? I can open gemini and type “give me a shitpost meme about being angry for something random, you pick” and get a picture. I don’t even have to think about what it would be. The part that requires the most effort is copy/pasting it here.

      Not AI but AI Slop. An AI image is created over time, fine tuning the prompt until it is perfect.

      AI slop is just the first thing the ChatGPT image creation tool shows you. Perfect edges, a lot of mistakes, background that’s just jitter, a comic in that one specific style with the thick lines, that yellowish tint, the fur of animas looks too perfect all the way like the whole body is a macro shot.

      After some time you kind of… feel AI generated images, audio, video and text. Bad use of LLMs has a pattern.

    FYI. The increased energy use from social media contributes to a significant global carbon footprint, measured in terms of greenhouse gas emissions.
