performing archery with feet
Like, I’ll never be able to do one of those things, let alone all three simultaneously.
This doesn’t look AI generated.
I’m in awe. This must have taken hundreds, if not thousands of hours of training and dedication.
Anyone been to Kyrgyzstan? All I know is that they have a fucking dope flag 🇰🇬
I checked the link but i csnt find anything that would be related to this photo, could you provide some more info. Itd be pretty cool if theres a video about it.
It looks like their photo gallery is borked. This might work
Dude thats not just a handstand from what it looks like. Shes on stilts :o
Are the stilts on a unicycle on a ball by any chance?
They might as well be, she’s got talent.
Apparently a lot of people can do this. Search something like trick archery feet and you can find a bunch of examples.
Not to say it isn’t difficult or impressive of course, just that it’s not limited to Kyrgyzstan
Kyrgyzstan is amazing and gorgeous, it’s known as the “Switzerland of Central Asia” because its size, topography and mountains resemble it. Women are beautiful, the place is wild.
Draw a cord? I am not sure if I can open my toes enough to fit a bow there
-
Shit I’ve been using that wrong for a long time. I thought it was for hands!
I tell ya, those Scythian women are something else.
Are these properly weighted bows or does she have serious toe grip strength to draw the bowstring like that?
I don’t know exactly, but this is specially made equipment. I’ve never seen a bow with a hole in the handle for the arrow. That makes a lot of sense, it’s probably very difficult to balance the arrow just right. And because of the hole, I’m not seeing much in the way of fletching on that arrow. The grip is also made for toes. I would guess it is a lower weight bow.
Good catch! I did not notice that little detail.
Maybe they rifle the hole and the spin takes the place of fletching?
That’s pretty badass
So are all contestants required to do it that way?
