If it’s a shirt, there’s not really labor involved outside transportation.
You’ve heard of no true Scotsman, well that’s compared to me, the only true Scotsman. Everything I am is all things that are forever and not, therefore the fallacy isn’t.
If it’s a shirt, there’s not really labor involved outside transportation.
It’s a game version of what you imagined the little Lego vehicles you pretended to create as a kid did in your imagination. It’s pretty fun, kinda grindy in campaign mode, but at least worth an afternoon if you like any other vehicle building pseudo engineering game.
And yes there is multiplayer, including multi-single player where other people’s vehicles invade your world. It’s balanced enough that you shouldn’t usually get curb stomped by them.
In 2008 they’d just use retard. It wasn’t even slightly controversial of a word at that point, just like disabled isn’t really now (since that differently abled nonsense euphemism failed to take off).
Violence is the basis of politics; as in politics is literally just deciding who we want to do violence. If some group does violence in a way we don’t want, whatever social contract that did exist is broken and we need to do violence ourselves to reestablish who should be doing the violence.
CSAM is the official term for pretty much all English speaking countries and covers material not otherwise classed as pornography. It’s also at least 15 years old, since that’s when I started in trust and safety and it was being used in training materials then. Your country chose poorly.
American does generic American thing: “this is just like the foreign bad guys in my TV show!”
You do if you don’t browse all and instead curate your own feed.
Oh, right, ml instance. Anyway class war is the only war and you can be racist against white people.
Because he ran on a fairly progressive campaign and was black, so easy electability to the people that don’t pay attention. That and New Yorkers are fascist sympathizers.
The old adage isn’t just for show; if you’re up against a state actor, or believe you need to secure yourself against a state actor, you’re fucked.
That being said if you’re not already secured against the 5/13 eyes and you think Trump makes a difference you’re too naive to ever be targeted and nothing you do matters to them.
Trump makes no difference in terms of the US government attempting to breach privacy. Every anti privacy measure the US has ever pushed has been bipartisan, including the patriot act which was written by Joe Biden. You’re not paranoid enough or far too paranoid.
“lately”? This is foundational to the entirety of left wing thought.
The left starts at abolition of capitalism and by extension corporate profit. If you disagree with that, you’re simply not left wing in any way, you would be better off in right wing or far right sites like reddit or Facebook. They’re their product of your beliefs, stick to them.
It would be assuming we do reach post scarcity for all essential goods. There’s more than enough bored people right now that would throw away the rest of their lifespan for a few months in space to fill a intra galactic space exploration organization; give those bored people all the free education they can handle and you have a successful star fleet.
It has to be committed by enemies of the US to be genocide, otherwise it’s a humanitarian crisis no one can solve.
That was literally every instance of employment your parents and their parents and so on did.
… It’s a protocol, not a service. And your browser has it enabled. You can disable it on your browser and default back to esni, and be less private and less anonimized, if you want. No one’s making you use it.
Maybe in a country without private medical care, but your idea doesn’t work in the US.
AI is already, currently, this second, in use in the medical insurance industry and has statistically killed at least one person.
Expanding that to the part of the medical business that has some scientific backing is essentially societal suicide, unless you’re rich enough to afford a real human doctor.
The doctor, clearly. Who do you sue if the AI doesn’t get it right? Who’s held accountable for the failure? Also for your scenario to work, either humans have to do that diagnosis enough to generate those stats, or the AI has to fail enough to generate those stats, either way people are going to die due to preventable misdiagnosis.
More over all LLMs just ‘hallucinate’, sometimes those hallucinations happen to line up to reality, but by their very nature they do not deal in factual information. There is a reason no LLMs will ever touch Wikipedia or other knowledge bases.
It’s not a pre built PC, it’s a gaming console that can also be a PC, if needed. That’s how the steam deck is marketed, that’s how the previous steamos PC was marketed, and clearly Lenovo thinks the marketing will work. A unified simple introduction to PC gaming as cheap as any console but with near infinite backwards compatibility is a pretty good sell to the normies who have nothing but marginal upgrades to look forward to in the console space.
Machines cannot be held accountable, therefore they should not ever, under any circumstance, make or be the primary basis of critical decisions. It doesn’t get much more critical than medical decisions.
We did in the 80s when you last were culture bombed about it. The textile industry is mostly in China now, and mostly automated, including cotton harvesting. Wool has some issues but animal cruelty tends not to register with you people, but poly blend clothing, which is by far the majority of clothing produced, has less human labor than most electronics manufacturing.
