There’s no chance an extra half quart will raise the oil that much. I’ve never seen an engine that didn’t have the space for an extra 2 quarts at least
I’d argue it’s better to be half a quart over than half a quart under, you’re not going to negatively affect anything with that extra half quart.
That’s like half a quart over, that’s perfectly fine and honestly if your car has over like 100k miles, it’s not a terrible idea to keep an extra half a quart due to some inevitably leaking out between now and your next change.
You have to overfill an engine by a LOT for it to start contacting the crankshaft and causing issues, like 2+ quarts extra.
Is no one going to ask about the condition of the old rotor? Sure the pad looks decent, but maybe the old rotor was completely worn out?
There are a lot of 1500+hp drag cars with 2 speed power glide transmissions.
